A birthday card

I wanted to share a birthday card that I made on Sunday, using some scraps that were sitting on my scrap table (I ♥ doing this!)

I used Papertrey Ink cardstock & felt (Vintage Cream), stamps (Botanical Silhouettes), dies (Love Lives Here), twine and buttons. The patterned paper is all My Mind's Eye, except for the cream on cream polka dots (on which the sentiment is stamped)-- that one is Lily Bee.

Thanks for looking!

Terrific card. I can't believe that you just 'happened' to have matching scraps on your table at the same time. Are you sure?

Hi Leigh! I LOVE those patterned papers and your stitching looks amazing. I really like that all the strips aren't the same width - it looks great. :)

Who would have thought a card made from 'scaps' would turn out so lovely? The stitching really pulls it all together. Love it! Those buttons are the perfect embellishment.
